A BETTER US is a weekly broadcast that provides couples with HOPE through Bible-based insights, honest & fun discussions, and practical tools for everyday life. The program represents the fulfilment of a vision of Ron and Ann Mainse, who felt compelled by God to combine their experience in TV broadcasting with their passion to help couples succeed in marriage.

The TV show is produced by Heart to Heart Marriage & Family Ministries, a non-profit charity led by Ron & Ann Mainse, in partnership with Crossroads Christian Communications Inc., founded by Ron’s father, David Mainse.

We exist to establish, enhance & equip strong marriage & family relationships by sharing life-changing Biblical truths in creative and engaging ways using a variety of events and media, as well as personal marriage coaching.

Heart to Heart Marriage & Family Ministries (H2H) was originally started by Lorne Shepherd in the mid-1980’s, beginning as an outreach of Crossroads Christian Communications Inc., founded by Rev. David Mainse. In the mid-1990’s, H2H launched out on its own and became a separate registered charity in Ontario, Canada. The ministry leadership transitioned to David & Wende Butcher in 2009 and then to Ron & Ann Mainse in 2016. Exciting days are ahead as H2H expands, pursuing a fresh, God-given Vision and Mission!
